THE FIRE RESISTANCE OF DOORS SHALL BE EQUIVALENT TO THAT OF THE DIVISION IN WHICH THEY ARE FITTED, THIS BEING DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FIRE TEST PROCEDURES CODE. DOOR AND DOOR FRAMES IN "A" CLASS DIVISIONS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF STEEL. DOORS IN "B" CLASS DIVISIONS SHALL BE NON-COMBUSTIBLE. DOORS FITTED IN BOUNDARY BULKHEADS OF MACHINERY SPACES OF CATEGORY A SHALL BE REASONABLY GASTIGHT AND SELF-CLOSING. IN SHIPS CONSTRUCTED ACCORDING TO METHOD IC, THE ADMINISTRATION MAY PERMIT THE USE OF COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS IN DOORS SEPARATING CABINS FROM INDIVIDUAL INTERIOR SANITARY ACCOMMODATION SUCH AS SHOWERS.
PSCO OBSERVED THE FOLLOWING A-0 SELF CLOSING FIRE DOORS AS INDICATED ON THE FIRE CONTROL PLAN UNABLE TO PROPERLY CLOSE AND/OR FITTED WITH A HOLDBACK HOOK; CREW LAUNDRY, UPPER DECK AND A-DECK MAIN STAIRWELL, OFFICERS MESS, GALLEY, CREW AND ENGINE CHANGING ROOM, CAPTAIN'S PANTRY, CCR, AND STEERING GEAR TO ENGINE ROOM.

PSCO OBSERVED OIL LEAKS AND OIL ACCUMULATION ON THE MAIN ENGINE FUEL PUMPS ON CYLINDERS 1,3,4,5 AND 6, ALONG WITH THE INJECTORS ON CYLINDERS 1 AND 5 AND IN BETWEEN CYLINDERS 4,5, AND 6.
