07102- Fire Safety- For tankers of 20,000 tonnes deadweight and upwaredsconstructed after iJul 2002 but before 1 Jan 2016, the protection of the cargo tanks shall be achieved by a fixed inert gas system in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Safety Code. FSS code 15.2.3.1.3.1 states means shall be fitted which will effectivly cool the volume of teh gas specified in paragraph 2.2.1.2 and remove solids and sulphur combustion products. The cooling waster arrangements shall be such that an adequate supply of water will always be available. PSCO observed 2 leaks from the cooling water lines on the flue gas intake of teh scrubber. Crew completed a temporary repair. Coast Guard require permanent repair to satisfaction of RO within 14 days. 74 SOLAS (am) 2014 cons II-2/4.5.5.1.1, FSS 15.2.3.1.3.1. 16a
