Fire-fighting systems and appliances shall be kept in good working order and readily available for immediate use. PSCO observed that the emergency fire pump was energized, but could not build discharge water pressure. SOLAS 74(2014) II-2/14.2.1.2
Action required: 60 - Rectify deficiencies prior to movement
Resolved 19 November 2020
Resolution: Received a class report from NKK. It was found that the inlet isolation valve was hydro locked and stuck in closed position. Crew overhauled the valve and reinstalled. Tested the emergency fire pump 3times and was found in good working condition.

The machinery shall be of a design and construction adequate for the service for which they are intended. It was reported that the Main Engine cintrol air won't start preventing the vessel to make astern propulsion. Demonstrate operational readiness of the propulsion system. SOLAS 74(2014) II-1/26

Resolved 19 November 2020
Resolution: Caused was due to a condensate water in the air starting system, resulting in control air valve leakage. All six drain valves were opened & cleaned. Tested M/E ahead & astern 7times each, total of 14times and was found in good working order.

Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage, all life-saving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. PSCO observed that the starboard side life-raft hydrostatic release mechanism was not correctly installed. SOLAS 74(2014) III/20.2

The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. It was reported that the starboard anchor had paying-out irregularity. Demonstrate operational readiness of the starboard side anchor with the attestation of the vessel administration or the certificate issuing authority. SOLAS 74(2014) I/11
