Resolution: CO2 rubber hoses corrected and bottles secured properly. Rectified on the spot.
All steering gear components and the rudder shall be of sound and reliable construction to the satisfaction of the Administration. PSCO observed a harsh vibration and an inconsistent rate of turn during the steering test.

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from ABS stating that the Load sequence valve was replaced on steering pump #2. Full operational testing carried out and witnessed by ABS on steering pumps #1 and #2, all found to be satisfactory.

The following fire protection systems shall be kept in good order so as to ensure their required performance if a fire occurs: fire detection and fire alarm systems . PSCO observed faults on 03 fire detectors in the battery room, galley and forecastle. Vessel reported faults on E-NOA and to flag. No dispensation issued.

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from ABS stating that the technician on board was unable to make permanent repairs. Short Term Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate issued for 40 days, until vessel can make permanent repairs in China.
