1705 - Every ship shall carry on board a SOPEP. PSCO observed in the SOPEP locker that several items were missing from the locker by comparing the locker contents with the posted inventory that was last completed on 09, April 2016. MARPOL Annex I/37.

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from NKK stating the deficiency was rectified. All missing inventory items were located onboard the vessel & returned to the SOPEP locker & crew members were trained to only use equipment for pollution matters.
