Marks shall be plainly visible and, if necessary, special arrangements shall be made for this purpose. PSCO observed deck lines on port and starboard side that were not painted in contrasting colors. Except where otherwise stated, the normal equipment of every lifeboat shall consist of: a food ration as described in paragraph 4.1.5.1.18 totaling not less than 10,000 kj for every person the lifeboat is permitted to accommodate; these rations shall be kept in airtight packaging and be stowed in a watertight container. PSCO observed 01 food rations that were expired. 74 SOLAS 20 III/34 LSA code IV/4.4.8.12 10c

The ship and its equipment shall conform to the current regulations and remain fit to proceed to sea without danger. During a 2016 drydock, tow bits were installed to stern towing arrangements that prevent opening of the stern emergency towing arrangements pick up gear box. SOLAS 2014 / I Reg. 11(a)
