In addition to meeting the requirements of paragraphs (a) through (e) of this section, a vessel with a power driven main steering gear must be provided with the following: (4) A manual means to center and steady the rudder in an emergency. Your vessel must undergo an annual inspection within the 3 months before or after each anniversary date. Vessel did not complete annual inspection within 3 months of anniversary date. Prior to the carriage of passengers, vessel shall complete a COI inspection.

Placards containint doning instructions for the use of lifejackets must be posted. Vessel replaced lifejackets doesnt match lifejacket placard for design. 46 CFR 185.516 - 16 (c)

Vessel must carry a first aid kit approved under 46 CFR 160.041. Kit was missing asprin replace new. 46 CFR 184.710 - 16c

A vessel that is exposed to salt water more than three months in any 12 month period since the last examination must undergo a dry-dock examination and an internal structural at least once every two years... Vessel lapsed required inspection dates 01MAY2024. Make vessel ready for dry-dock and internal structures examination. Prior to carriage of passengers/cargo, vessel must receive credit dry-dock. 46 CFR 176.600(c)(1)

On a vessel of at least 7.9 meters (26 feet) in length, a visual and audible alarm must be provided at the operating station to indicate a high water level in each of the following normally unmanned spaces. Vessels high water alarms did not operate in FWD and centerline compartment. 46 CFR 182.530 (a)

Portable fire extinguishers must be located so that they are clearly visible and readily accessible from the space being protected. The installation and location must be to the satisfaction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection. Vessel did not have proper bracket for bridge fire extinguisher. 46 CFR 181.520 (a)

46 CFR 176.600 - A VESSEL THAT IS EXPOSED TO SALT WATER MORE THAN THREE (03) MONTHS IN ANY 12 MONTH PERIOD SINCE THE LAST EXAMINATION MUST UNDERGO A DRYDOCK (DD) EXAMINATION AND AN INTERNAL STRUCTURAL EXAM (ISE) AT LEAST ONCE EVERY TWO (02) YEARS. VESSEL LAST RECEIVED A CREDIT DD AND ISE ON 11/01/2017. VESSEL IS PROHIBITED FROM CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS UNTIL A DD AND ISE ARE COMPLETED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ATTENDING USCG MARINE INSPECTOR. 1.
