The purpose of this regulation is to prevent the ignition of combustible materials or flammable liquids. For this purpose the following functional requirements shall be met: the ignitability of combustible materials shall be restricted. PSCO observed excess hydraulic oil accumulation in power pack enclosure.

Each liferaft or group of liferafts shall be stowed with a float-free arrangment complying with the requirements of paragraph 4.1.6 of the code: the liferaft painter shall be so arranged as to ensure that the liferaft is not dragged under by the sinking ship. PSCO observed incorrect arrangment for float free liferaft.
