During annual inspection, master of the vessel stated the only means to provide fire fighting water was via the potable water tanks. Records show vessel was required to install a pump capable of taking suction from the sea chest, and could be connected to the tanks in an emergency. (MISLE Act. 1376239) This pump is no longer onboard, and no approval to remove it could be located, as such, Provide onboard pump capable of maintaining water levels in the potable water tank in an emergency.
