EACH PRESSURE VESSEL LISTED ON THE CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION MUST BE THOROUGHLY EXAMINED EVERY 5 YEARS. IN ADDITION, EACH PRESSURE VESSEL LISTED ON THE CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION THAT IS FITTED WITH A MANHOLE OR OTHER INSPECTION OPENING SO IT CAN BE SATISFACTORILY EXAMINED INTERNALLY, MUST BE OPENED FOR INTERNAL EXAMINATION EVERY 5 YEARS. PRESSURE VESSEL ON BOARD BARGE IS DUE FOR AN INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL EXAMINATION.

The following plans, if applicable to the particular vessel, must be submitted for Coast Guard review in accordance with § 110.25-3: (a) Elementary one-line wiring diagram of the power system, supported, by cable lists, panelboard summaries, and other information including - (1) Type and size of generators and prime movers. Plans submitted in 2018 for installation of Generator #2 were incomplete. MSC letter E2-1801272 dated April 5, 2018 conatined the following note that was unresolved: "It is noted in your letter that generator #2 name plate data indicates a rating of 31.5 KVA @ 40 deg C, PF 0.8, eKW 25.2. In accordance with 46 CFR 111.01-15 (b) a 50 deg C ambient temperature is assumed for all rotating machinery. Please provide manufacturers data sheet for generator derating as required by 46 CFR 111.01-15 (e) and revise references (a) and (b) accordingly." Submit required information to MSC to complete plan review and approval.

Each lifejacket must have a lifejacket light approved under approval series 161.112 securely attached to the front shoulder area of the lifejacket. Lifejacket lights were found expired. Provide current lifejacket lights for provided lifejackets.

If the periodic inspection reveals deficiencies in your vessel's maintenance, you must make any or all repairs or improvements within the time period specified by the OCMI. Barge is outfitted with four berthing racks and four mattresses which is in conflict with unmanned status. Remove all mattresses onboard. 46 CFR 31.10-17

Provide proper relief valve for pressure vessel that will relief at proper allowances, not to exceed maximum allowable working pressure.

Relocate CO2 fire suppression system pressure switches outside the protected space IAW approved drawing number GS-512-1.

Provide proof that installed space heaters meet applicable UL 484, UL 1042 or an equivalent standard as approved by Marine Safety Center. vessel restricted from using heaters until approved by OCMI.

Provide proof that the installed heaters are installed in accordance with manufacturers installation requirements regarding safe clearances. Vessel restricted from using heaters until approved by OCMI

Provide documentation that the installed heaters are designed to be installed in combustible materials. Vessel restricted from using heaters until approved by OCMI.

Provide adequate lagging for dry exhaust manifold on caterpillar c6.6 prime mover.

Provide third party fire service certificate for fire fighting appliances.

Provide plans approved by the Marine Safety Center for all accommodations, related systems and structures prior to manned operation. The existing accommodation spaces, related systems and structures may not be used until plans, including general arrangements & structural fire protectection, are approved and inspection is complete.

Provide a Loadline Certificate for manned operations.

Provide Stability Letter for manned operations.

Prove to the attending MI the overspeed protection on the 48 KW Generator.
