PRESSURE VESSEL ON BOARD BARGE IS DUE FOR AN INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL EXAMINATION.

The following plans, if applicable to the particular vessel, must be submitted for Coast Guard review in accordance with § 110.25-3: (a) Elementary one-line wiring diagram of the power system, supported, by cable lists, panelboard summaries, and other information including - (1) Type and size of generators and prime movers. Plans submitted in 2018 for installation of Generator #2 were incomplete. MSC letter E2-1801272 dated April 5, 2018 conatined the following note that was unresolved: "It is noted in your letter that generator #2 name plate data indicates a rating of 31.5 KVA @ 40 deg C, PF 0.8, eKW 25.2. In accordance with 46 CFR 111.01-15 (b) a 50 deg C ambient temperature is assumed for all rotating machinery. Please provide manufacturers data sheet for generator derating as required by 46 CFR 111.01-15 (e) and revise references (a) and (b) accordingly." Submit required information to MSC to complete plan review and approval.
