The system must be self-monitoring and include a ground fault indication alarm. The vessel did not have procedures posted and did not know how to test the system. Once approved, marine inspector will attend to test and verify proper operation of DVTP.

The words “FIRE BUCKET” must be stenciled in a contrasting color on each bucket. Vessel only had one 2.5 gallon fire bucket onboard.
