Where the remote control of propulsion machinery from the navigation bridge is provided and the machinery spaces are intended to be manned, the pitch of the propeller shall be fully controllable from the navigation bridge under all sailing conditions. The pitch of the propeller is unable to be controlled from the bridge.

Resolution: Class survey completed. Malfunction traced back to incorrect parameter input during new system installation. Parameters input correctly and CPP system tested from the bridge (ahead & astern). All systems found operational.

Fire-fighting systems and appliances shall be kept in good working order and readily available for immediate use. Emergency fire pump is not operational due to faulty timer relay and electrical contact.
