The inspection of renewal of the COI normally includes inspection and testing of the structure, machinery, and equipment. The owner or operator must conduct all tests as required by the OCMI, and make the vessel available for all specific inspections and drills as required by subpart H of this part. In addition, the OCMI may require the vessel to get underway. Vessel could not be placed in the water or engine tested due to detached aluminum deck/inflatable hull structure as noted in deficiency #1 above. Place vessel in water and prove proper operation of engine/steering to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector. JOINT CGD13/17INST
