Penetrations in a watertight bulkhead must be made watertight. bow thruster HPU piping coming from starboard generator going forward though main engine space water tight bulkhead showed signs of salt build up and leakage at watertight penetration.

Vessel reported to see a sheen while transiting from location back to Port Fourchon. It was determined to be the #3 Main Engine leaking lube oil through the exhaust. The engine was secured. Vessel transited to Port Fourchon for repairs. Repair #3 main engine to prevent the leaking of lube oil and to have the #3 main engine operate as designed. 46 CFR 50.05-10(a)
