The vessel cannot reset the light indicating discharge of the Fireboy system in the engine compartment. Shutoff valves for fuel tanks are in the engine room and require a crew member to enter the space to operate the valves, thus not meeting the definition of "readily accessible". Provide plans that demonstrate vessels fuel system was built iaw ABYC H-33, specifically with the fuel shutoff valves or arrange vessel so fuel tank shutoff valves meet 46 CFR 182.455(b)(4).
