The owner or managing operator must provide satisfactory evidence of the required servicing for fixed-gas fire extinguishing systems to the marine inspector. At the time of inspection, the Fireboy system in the machinery space was past due for annual servicing. Technician is scheduled to attend on April 29th. Provide servicing report to attending marine inspector.

Flex hose between raw water intake valve and sea strainer on port side engine was partially pinched and damaged. Replace hose to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.

A drydock examination conducted in compliance with § 176.600 must be conducted while the vessel is hauled out of the water or placed in a drydock or slipway. During the examination all accessible parts of the vessel's underwater body and all through hull fittings, including the hull plating and planking, appendages, propellers, shafts, bearings, rudders, sea chests, sea valves, and sea strainers shall be made available for examination. Sea chests, sea valves, and sea strainers must be opened for examination. Vessel was not made available for examination. Hull was covered with marine growth, sea strainers were covered with barnacles, valves were unable to be inspected, outboard drive units will be replaced during this drydock, new units will need to be operationally tested prior to hull credit. Operator to re-schedule hull exam when all available items are available for inspection.

Vessel had a fire on board in the engine space. With Subsequent flooding through the exhaust. Vessel is restricted from carring passangers until repairs are conducted and verified by attending Marine Inspector. Vessel to prove that it is fit to operate as certificated, provide repair proprosals to attending MI.
