HOWEVER DURING COAST GUARD EXAM IT WAS DISCOVERED STEERING GEAR WAS NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL. PER VESSEL CHECKLIST TID-04-21-02. GUIDLINES ON CARGO HANDLING, THE DECK WATER SPRAY WAS TESTED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, HOWEVER DURING COAST GUARD INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED A LARGE SECTION OF THE DECK WATER SPRAY PIPING WAS WASHED AWAY RESULTING IN DECK WATER SPRAY NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL. PER VESSEL CHECKLIST 07-14S WEEKLY CHECKLIST FOR LIFE BOATS COMPLETED HOWEVER DURING COAST GUARD INSPECTION UPON LOWERING PORT SIDE LIFEBOAT, IT WOULD NOT RAISE BACK UP DUE TO LOOSE WIRE ON THE LIMIT SWITCH. AN INTERNAL ISM AUDIT AND RECORD OF CORRECTIVE ACTIONS, INCLUDING ACTIONS TO PREVENT DEPARTURE IAW ISM 9 REQUIRED. 74SOLAS(04) IX/3.1 REF ISM 10.2
