Vessel is restricted from carriage of passengers until a Certificate of Inspection is completed as required by 46 CFR 176.404.

Vessel currently has two B-1 size portable fire extinguishers. 46 CFR 181.500 requires the vessel to be outfitted with one B-1 and one B-II (now regarded as 10-B:C and 40-B:C respectively). Provide one B-II (same as 40-B:C) at the aft section of the vessel to protect against potential engine fire. This portable extinguisher will replace the currently installed B-I.
