Such means shall consist of a door-latching mechanism incorporating a device that releases the latch upon application of a force in the direction of escape flow. PSCO observed large public spaces labeled Main Lounge on DK3, Main Restaurant on DK2, and Theater on DK4 not be equipped with a quick release mechanism in way of escapes or had thumb latches in stalled in escape path.
