The fire damper shall operate automatically, but shall also be capable of being closed manually from both sides of the bulkhead or deck. PSCO's observed 3 cargo space fire dampers (1-6S, 1-1P, 3-2S) that were unable to be closed. SOLAS 04 II-2/9.7.3
