The purpose of regulation II-2/4.1 is to prevent the ignition of combustile materials or flammable liquids. For this purpose, the following functional requirements shall be met: Means shall be provided to control leaks of flammable liquids. PSCO observed fuel leaks on the #1,2,3 ship's service deisel generator. 74 SOLAS (20) II-2/4.1

Resolved 24 February 2022
Resolution: Accepted class KR report stating multiple injectors, pumps, and filters were overhauled on generators, operation observed with no leaks, and leakage alarms tested.

After any survey of the ship under regulations 7,8,9, or 10 has been completed, no change shall be made in the structural arrangements, machinery, equipment and other items covered by the survey without the sanction of the Administration. During the exam, the PSCO noted the fresh water solenoid valve had been renewed with wires spliced; ship did not have class approval documentation for the following modification.

Resolved 7 September 2019
Resolution: Vessel submitted class survey report from Korean Register of Shipping verifying the proper operation and approval of OWS. See attached class report.
