The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship and all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. Vessel experienced a loss of steering in their starboard Azimuth Z-drive while conducting crane operations offshore. Vessel is to transit to port to affect repairs to the satisfaction of the RO. Vessel is also to provide a Class Survey report upon completion of repairs.

Each class 1 watertight door must be designed to withstand a head of water equivalent to the depth from the sill of the door to the margin line but in no case less than 10 ft. Hinged watertight door in the tank farm space would not properly seal due to a missing dog bearing.
