After the end of calendar year 2023 and after the end of each following calendar year, each ship of 5,000 gross tonnage and above which falls into one or more of the categories in regulations 2.2.5, 2.2.7, 2.2.9, 2.2.11, 2.2.14 to 2.2.16, 2.2.22, and 2.2.26 to 2.2.29 of this Annex shall calculate the attained annual operational CII over a 12-month period from 1 January to 31 December for the preceding calendar year, using the data collected in accordance with regulation 27 of this Annex, taking into account the guidelines to be developed by the Organization. The company should establish procedures to ensure that the ship is maintained in conformity with the provisions of the relevant rules and regulations and with any additional requirements which may be established by the company. As referred in section 4.8.3.10.4, planned Preventative Maintenance in the vessel’s SMS the preventative maintenance must include the following items as a minimum safety: safety, damage-control, firefighting, lifesaving, and smoke, gas, and heat detection. As referenced in MacGreyor Instruction Manual section 5.005.49 E, every ten years replace all hydraulic hoses (crane). Vessel was unable to provide objective evidence that hydraulic hoses have been replaced per MacGregor Instruction Manual. As delineated in deficiencies 02 and 04, the company had failed to provide the necessary replacements in a timely manner. Vessel requisitioned replacement flame detectors 24Feb21 and window 01Mar2021. Internal audit is required prior to movement.
