The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. Vessel reported that 01 cylinder on the main engine was damaged and only capable of producing 50 percent of the rated horse power at approximately 81 RPMs. 74SOLAS(20) I/11 (a).
