1740-Oil discharge mon/contr system-The oil filtering equipment shall be provided arangements that any discharge of oily mixtures is automatically stopped when OC of the effluent is over 15ppm. MEPC 107(49): The arrangement on board should five a truly representative sample of the effluent with an adequate pressure and flow. PSCO observed the sample line kinked. MARPOL I 14.7 17a

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from [name withheld] stating the deficiency was rectified. Sample line was removed and assembled in correct way by crew members and visual inspection was carried out and found satisfactory.

Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from Lloyds Register, stating the deficiency was rectified. M/E Scavenging Air box Drain tank was identified and included in Form A of IOPP. A new IOPP certificate and Form A was issued.
