Resolution: Vessel crew examine the injectors and the exhaust valve. Leakage of Lube Oil from broken oil seal identified. The defective valve was replaced with properly tested spare parts.

Resolution: Corrected on spot, crew had nameplate ordered and received it prior to arrival at Port Hueneme but did not attach it to the BWMS system. Crew attached it after being notified by PSCO.
