On ships carrying flammable or toxic products or both, a water-spray system for cooling, fire prevention, and crew protection should be installed to cover: exposed cargo tank domes and any exposed parts of cargo tanks; and cargo liquid and vapor discharge and loading manifolds. PSCO observed insignificant coverage of tank tops 1, 3, 4, and STBD manifold.

Resolution: The crew pulled out pipe sections, mostly elbows, and flushed out corrosion scales. Attended onboard and carried out operational testing of the water spray system. Nozzels Verified.
