Controlled tank venting systems shall consist of a primary and a secondary means of allowing full flow relief of vapour to prevent over-pressure or under pressure in the event of failure of one means. Alternatively, the secondary means may consist of pressure sensors fitted in each tank with a montioring system in the ship's cargo control room or position from which cargo operations are normally carried out. Such monitoring equipment shall also provide an alarm facility which is activated by detection of overpressure or under pressure conditions within a tank. MI observed number 10 port cargo tank pressure indicator is not sounding alarm for both high and low pressure sensor testing. 74SOLAS(20)VII/10.1 IBC Code 8.3.3

Ship's Rescue Boat became inoperable during a man Overboard event occured on 12APR2020 during their transitto Charleston, SC from Spain. Fuel pump suffered damage rendering it inoperable. 74SOLAS (2014) Ch.III/Reg. 20.2. / LSA Code 5.1.1.
