Each cargo tank of a tank vessel must be equipped with a tank overfill alarm that must activate an audible and visual alarm so that it can be seen and heard from on the vessel where cargo is transfer is controlled and in the cargo area. 2P,8P,3S overfill alarms are inoperable on the cargo deck area. Vessel must rectfy prior to loading cargo in the US.
