The ring, lines, and letters shall be painted in white or yellow on a dark background. They shall also be permanently marked on the sides of the ship to the satisfaction of the administration. PSCO observed load line painted on ship does not match load line certificate. (ICLL 66, REG. 8)

Resolution: Vessel's crew painted the load line and verified against LL certificate.

0635- launch arrangt. for rescue boats- Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the voyage, all life saving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. PSCO observed the crew was unable to raise the rescue boat using either electrical or manual means. SOLAS 74 a (2014 Cons) CH III/20.2 17a
Condition: Improper/Lack of Maintenance
Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 3 July 2018
Resolution: Received, reviewed and accepted class report from DNV-GL stating the deficiency was rectified. Damaged ball bearing to wire drum drive shaft was replaced and conducted sat operational test.
