The function of fixed fire detection and fire alarm systems shall be periodically tested to the satisfaction of administration by means of equipment producing hot air at the appropriate temperature, or smoke or aerosol particleshaving the appropriate range of density or particle size. Vessel was unable to provide an operational testing device for flame detector.
