FOR TANKERS OF 20000 TONNES DEADWEIGHT AND UPWARDS, A FIXED DECK FOAM FIRE-EXTINGUSHING SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED COMPLYING WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE FIRE SAFETY SYSTEMS CODE. WHILE CONDUCTING THE FIRE DRILL DECK FOAM MONITORS PRODUCED FOAM WHILE VALVES FOR FOAM PUMPS WERE SHUT. DRILL WAS INTENDED TO PRODUCE WATER FROM FOAM MONITORS ALONE.
