Cargo tanks shall be fitted with a visual and audible high level alarm. PSC observed tank radar for 1p, 4s, 5P and 5S are indicating in excess of 95% which does not correspond with high level alarm indicator in CCR/at tank sensors. Sensors for above tanks were recently replaced by ship’s crew but need to be calibrated/aligned. Fault lies in radar tank dome system only.

Each tank vessel vapor connection flange face must have a permanent stud projecting outward and located at the top of the flange face midway between bolt holes. PSC observed the stud was installed incorrectly. Stud was screwed into the flange; not permanently affixed.
