07105 - Fire doors/openings in fire-resisting divisions. "A" Class divisions are those divisions formed by bulkheads and decks which comply with the following... they are so constructed as to be capable of preventing the passage of smoke and flame... Steering gear room does not properly seal due to door mis-allignment and deteriorated seal. Additionally the steering gear room door leading to the engine room storage space has a penetration which has been duck taped to cover the hole. Both doors are certified as class "A" fire boundary doors. 74SOLAS(04)II-2/3.2 AND 3.4.
