Nonmetallic flexible hose must have factory-assembled end fittings requiring no further adjustment or field attachable fittings. Hose end fittings must comply with SAE J1475 (incorporated by reference, see § 56.01-2). Attending Marine Inspector identified unapproved flexible hose clamps on fuel lines on the cargo pump prime mover. Correct deficiency prior to discharging cargo.

Attending Marine Inspector identified unapproved flexible hose on fuel lines. Correct deficiency prior to discharging cargo.
