Issued 31 August 2019 Resolved
Subject vessel, of KLD 17JUN2008 and ballast water capacity of 17,350m3, is past its compliance date per the implementation schedule in 33CFR151.2035(b). Currently, vessel's installed BWTS is inoperable. Vessel is not authorized to discharge untreated ballast into the waters of the U.S. without prior written authorization from the local Captain of The Port under the provisions of 33CFR151.2040(b).
Action required: 15 - Rectify deficiencies by next port
Resolved 10 February 2022
Resolution: Received ballast water certificate and CG approval letter. Deficiency cleared.
