Employers must maintain records of chemical tests and must make these records available to Coast Guard officials upon request. The records shall be sufficient to identify the total number of individuals chemically tested annually for dangerous drugs in each of the categories of testing required by this part. Provide current list of all crew members assigned to safety sensitive positions enrolled in chemical testing. 46CFR16.260

A vessel must comply with the applicable requirements for any radio installations, including the requirements for installation certificates to be issued by the Federal Communications Commission, as set forth in 47 CFR part 80. Every vessel subject to Part III of Title III of the Communications Act must have a detailed inspection of the radio installation by an FCC-licensed technician in accordance with § 80.59 once every five years. If the ship passes the inspection, the technician will issue a Communications Act Safety Radiotelephony Certificate. Vessel's Communications Act Safety Radiotelephony Certificate is expired. 46CFR184.502, 47CFR80.903

A vessel must comply with the applicable requirements for any radio installations, including the requirements for installation certificates to be issued by the Federal Communications Commission, as set forth in 47 CFR part 80. Stations in the maritime service must be licensed by the FCC. Vessel radio station authorization is expired. 46CFR184.502, 47CFR80.13(a)

All vessels must have navigation lights that are in compliance with the applicable sections of the International and Inland Navigation Rules. Vessel mast light is extinguished. 46CFR183.420

When the flexible section of fuel fill pipe is a nonconductor of electricity, the metallic sections of the fill pipe separated thereby must be joined by a conductor for protection against generation of a static charge when filling with fuel. Conductors are missing. 46CFR182.445(g)

A vessel to which this subchapter applies may not be operated without having on board a valid U.S. Coast Guard Certificate of Inspection. Certificate of Inspection expired 10JUN2024. 46CFR176.100(a)

A vessel that is exposed to salt water more than three months in any 12 month period since the last examination must undergo a drydock examination and an internal structural at least once every two years. Dry dock and internal structural exam were due to be completed no later than 31MAY2024. 46CFR176.600(c)(1)

Each vessel that operates on the high seas, must have on board a FCC Type Accepted Category 1, 406 MHz EPIRB, installed to automatically float free and activate. EPIRB hydrostatic release is expired. 46CFR185.740

A vessel not required to have a power driven fire pump by § 181.300 must have at least three 9.5 liter (2 1/2 gallon) buckets, with an attached lanyard satisfactory to the cognizant OCMI, placed so as to be easily available during an emergency. The words “FIRE BUCKET” must be stenciled in a contrasting color on each bucket. Two fire buckets were not available for inspection. 46CFR181.610

Placards containing instructions for the donning and use of the life jackets aboard the vessel must be posted in conspicuous places that are regularly accessible and visible to the crew and passengers. No placard were available for inspection. 46CFR185.516

Liferaft must be serviced no later than the month and year on affixed servicing sticker. Liferaft servicing expired May 2022. Service liferaft. 46CFR185.730

Each hydrostatic release unit must be marked with expiration. Liferaft hydrostatic release expired April 2022. Replaced hydrostatic release unit. 46CFR185.740

Each vessel that operates on the high seas must have a FCC Type EPIRB. NOAA registration for EPIRB expired. Renew registration. 46CFR180.64

Company must provide documentation proving pre-employment drug testing and proof of enrollment in a random program for all crew.

Conduct underway tests and drills with a Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Vessel is certificated for a Limited Coastwise route but the master only has an inland waters credential. Vessel is limited to a lakes, bays, and sounds route.

Remove unapproved vinyl hose and primer bulb from generator supply line or replace with approved materials.

Provide hose clamps for the generator sea suction hoses on either side of the sea strainer.

Mark emergency fuel shut off valve locations in 1 inch high letters as per cite.

Mount starboard main engine sea strainer.

Provide guard for rotating belts on front of port main engine.

Provide retro reflective tape for life ring buoy.

Provide fuel piping system that meets 46 CFR 182.455 for diesel fuel systems and where flexible hose is used it must comply with 46 CFR 182.720 (e)
