All machinery and equipment must be installed and maintained in such a manner as to afford adequate protection from causing fire, explosion, machinery failure, and personnel injury. Vessel lost marine propulsion while carrying passengers. Make repairs and demonstrate satisfactory sea trial in the presence of a Marine Inspector prior to carrying passengers.
