PSCO observed the non follow-up steering mode is inoperable with only the #1 steering pump running. Provide report form certificate issuing authority attesting to the proper operation. 74 SOLAS I-11.

Resolution: Received, reviewed, accepted class report from NKK stating the control system was wired incorrectly. The proper wiring was conducted by the technician and the steering system was tested in all modes with a satisfactory result.
