No repairs or alterations affecting the safety of the vessel or its machinery shall be made unless applicable requirements in this chapter are met.
Vessel reported a pin hole leak in void #2 STBD side on the knuckle weld. Additionally barge suffered damage to side shell plating and gunnel and has another small crack on the gunnel near #2 void, both of which occurred from bridge allision. Third party surveyor attended and applied splash zone to compromised areas as temp repair.
Barge is authorized to offload cargo as planned at INDORAMA and must proceed light (no cargo) to TT 104, LM104 in the vicinity of New Orleans for permanent repair. Any departure from plan will require notification and authorization from cognizant OCMI.

Barge was damaged during a grounding. When the tie down cables parted the aft stbd winch was pulled from the deck damage was sustained to the combing, ladder and external framing members to the aft cargo tank.
