Resolution: FO leak alarm on A/E no. 3 repaired and tested satisfactory, class report attests to repairs.
The company and the ship shall comply with the requirements of the ISM Code. Every company should designate a person ashore. the responsibility of the designated person should include monitoring the pollution-prevention aspects of the operation of each ship. PSCO witnessed lack of understanding and familiarization surrounding use of exhaust gas scrubber system and United States regulations allowing use of alternative means.
