At each inspection, marine inspector shall examine all accessible parts of the exterior and interior of the hull. Pinhole leak was found forward of check valve on the AC drain line. Cite not listed in MISLE, below is cite for deficiency Cite: 46CFR 176.25-1 (a) OLD "T"

Vessels that operate beyond three miles from the coastline must have an approved EPIRB installed in a float free arrangement. Hydrostatic release unit and EPIRB battery were found to be expired. Renew EPIRB and hydrostatic release prior to moving beyond 3 miles from coastline. Until deficiency is resolved, routes are restricted to within 3 nautical miles of shore.

Ring life buoys shall be marked with vessel's name. Ring life buoy on aft weather deck was missing vessel's name. Cite not in MISLE, below is cite for deficiency. Cite: 46 CFR 185.30-5 (c) OLD "T"

A vessel must comply with applicable requirements issued by the FCC set forth in 47 CFR Part 80. Vessel's required FCC Safety Radiotelephony certificate was expired.

All electrical installations shall be to the satisfaction of the Officer in charge Marine Inspection. During the 31 JAN 2024 Dry Dock / Internal Structural Exam Marine Inspectors observed an open HVAC electrical panel and required operator to install a backing plate on the electrical panel. Marine Inspectors received notification on 22 MAR 2024 that a temporary plastic bin had been installed to satisfy the above requirement. The material was deemed not suitable for continued usage by Marine Inspectors. Provide a permanent backing plate to remove the electrical shock hazard for crew members and/or passengers. 46 CFR 183.01-15

Remove fuel oil, engine oil, and steering hydraulic fluid buildup from all vessel bilges. Repair leaking fuel oil valve on STBD main engine and inspect other fuel oil lines for leaks and / or excessive wear. Install chaffing gear in machinery space as necessary to prevent excessive wear or line punctures. Relocate survey hoisting gear stowed in rudder compartment. Repair machinery space watertight bulkhead fittings. Install backing plate on accommodation space void HVAC electrical panel. *All Work list items are to be rectified prior to receiving Dry Dock credit.* 46 CFR 176.15-5 (OLD T)

A marine employer whose vessel is involved in a casualty or incident that is, or is likely to become, a serious marine incident as defined in § 4.03–2 of subchapter A of this chapter shall comply with the requirements of § 4.06 in subchapter A of this chapter. Coast Guard marine inspector found expired alcohol test strips on vessel.

Life floats shall be conspicuously marked with vessels name, marking shall be 1 ½” letters and numbers and shall include number of personal allowed. Vessel’s life-float did not have marking.

Each survival craft on a vessel must be in good working order and ready for immediate use. Water-lights on both life-float and life-ring buoy were not working.

A vessel must have one or more ring life buoy. Found ring life buoy on board to require new line, proper markings and an operable light. CITE: 46 CFR 180.70

Each life float must be secured to the vessel by a painter and a float free link. The life float was found to have improper painter line, weak link was not attached and not secured to the vessel. Paddles missing. Water light inoperable. CITE: 46CFR 180.20-1(a), 180.15(a)

Bilge Alarm in rudder room was OOC. Bilge alarms should have visual and audible functionality from the bridge.

Life float is missing paddle and needs serviced due to fraying lines and worn tape.

Replace hose on fire extinguisher located on the port side of the aft deck.

Replace broken waterlight.

Provide updated charts.

Replace missing clamp for flexible hose located on the port engine exhaust.
