Pressure relief valves should be set and sealed by a competent authority acceptable to the Administration and a record of this action, including the values of set pressure, should be retained aboard the ship. The Lloyd's Register Certificate of Values, dated 19AUGUST2013, state the test pressure was 3.3 bar but the valve set pressure is 0.25 and 0.45 bar. Verify that the presure relief valves meet the requirement listed in IGC Code (1993 edition) 8.2.5. SOLAS 74 (2014 edition) Ch. VII/13.1, IGC Code (1993 edition) Ch. 8.2.5

Resolution: Vessel master provided the correct Safety Relief Test Report for all valves. Test Pressure listed on Lloyds Certificate for valves indicates Hydraulic Test for the entire system. Test Pressure for valves is indicated separately.

The alarms are installed outside on the weather deck and inside the airlock vice inside the electric motor room.
