Portable fire extinguishers shall comply with the requirements of the Fire Safety Systems Code. PSCO observed technician report stating 68 DCP fire extinguishers need to be replaced due to cracked or dropped siphon tubes or cartridge release tubes. Reducing the extinguishers capabilities.

Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure

Resolution: BV surveyor attened the vessel to attest to the conformity of 68 DCP fire extingishers.
