Resolution: Rubber hoses an collecting buckets were removed and drain line modified with steel pipes and connected to the LO drain line to the LO Drain Tank. The connections were verified tight and no leaks were observed. See Class Report # 2174164

1410 - Propulsion main engine - In addition to the requirements contained elsewhere in the present regulations, ships shall be designed, constructed, and maintained in compliance with the structural, mechanical, and electrical requirements of a classification society. Vessel has a flange on the main sea water system that is leaking whichc has caused water to seep into the sump, leaving the main engine non-operational. Pipe connections between the main engine bed plate and hte lube oil sump tank require repair. 74 SOLAS (14) II-1/3-1

Port State Control Officers found an "MGO high temp alarm' on the MGO Advanced Cooling System Remote Control Panel for the Main Engine, and a "Chilling Alarm" on the panel for the auxilary engine. 74 SOLAS (14) II-1/26.1
