Each liferaft or group of liferafts shall be stowed with a float-free arrangement complying with the requirments of paragraph 4.1.6 of the Code so that each floats free and, if inflatable, inflates automatically if the ship sinks. PSCO observed liferaft painter secured to the ship via shackle instead of the weak-link.
