0615-Before the ship leaves port and at all times during the all times during the voyageall lifesaving appliances shall be in working order and ready for immediate use. The rescue boat throttle handle was broken at the conning position and the crew had to remove the cover of the outboard to adjust the speed of the boat. The crew then temporarily fixed the throttle using glue.
