To assist in casualty investigations, ships, when engaged on international voyages, subject to the provisions of the regulations 1.4, shall be fitted with a voyage data recorder (VDR) as follows. Ships, other htna passenger shups of 3000 gross tonage and upwards constructed on or after 1 july 2002. PSCO was notified by captain, of fault on VDR. Flag and class were notififed. Conduct repairs prior to 18apr2022. 74 SOLAS 20 V/20.1.4

Resolved 5 July 2023
Resolution: Vessel submitted tech report, CSSEC, and annual performance test report showing VDR was repaired. PSCO attended vessel and confirmed VDR was fully operational.
