Except for hatches between cargo, special category, store and baggage spaces, opening shall be provided with permanently attached means of closing which shall be at least as effective for resisting fires as the divisions in which they are fitted. The PSCO observed the paint locker door FD 05.5.10 not closing when door closure release was activated. 74 SOLAS 20 II-2/9.4.1.1.1

Passenger ships carrying more than 36 passengers shall be equipped with an automatic sprinkler of an approved type complying with the requirements of the Fire Safety Systems Code in all control stations, accommodation and service space, including corridors and stairways. The high pressure water mist Deck 3 Zone 1 section valve diagram displaying the area covered by the section valve was not displayed as required. 74 SOLAS 20 II-2/10.6.1.1
