Other than the stowage position for the life-raft required under 199.261(e), no stowage position or muster and embarkation station for a survival craft on a tank vessel may be located on or above a cargo tank, slop tank, or other tank containing explosives or hazardous liquids.
Marine Inspector found that the one life-raft was located on top of the house. Which is located right above a cargo tank. Effect correction prior to receiving credit dry dock.

Cargo pump relief valves and pressure gages may be omitted, however, a suitable device shall be fitted to stop the pumping before the designed pressure of the piping is exceeded.
Marine Inspector found that there was not suitable device to relieve pressure from the cargo pumps on cargo piping. Effect correction prior to conducting discharging operations.

The installation of all electrical engineering must meet the requirements of subchapter J. Each generator must meet the applicable requirements of the ABS steel vessel rules. Vessels generators must have nameplates of corrosion-resistant material.

Each tank vessel with a cargo capacity of 1,000 or more cubic meters, must have one overfill device that meets the requirements of this section. On a tank barge, each cargo tank must be equipped with an overfill device that is an installed high-level indicating device that meets the requirements of 46 CFR 39.2003. The tank overfill alarm must—Be identified with the legend “TANK OVERFILL ALARM” in black letters at least 2 inches high on a white background.

Ground detection is required for each system that is isolated from the ship's service power and lighting system by transormers, MG sets, etc. Have electrician install proper ground detection on board vessel.
